Handline caught
Yellowfin tuna
Artisanal Community Catch

The nutrient rich strong ocean currents off the coast of the Philippines’ archipelago have been attracting schools of migrating Yellowfin Tuna for centuries. Equipped with a single hook handline and venturing out to the sea in traditional outrigger boats, local fishers catch this iconic ocean beauty one by one. Handlining is a vastly more sustainable way of catching tuna, as it generates no by-catch and does not overfish wild stocks. Freshly landed, our Yellowfin Tuna is carefully prepared whole or filleted and supplied as an all-natural, sustainable seafood choice!
